Abitt Like Home Kennels was founded in 1992 with training and breeding English Springer Spaniels.  We started our boarding in 1997.  We love working with and taking care of each of the dogs and focus our energy on maintaining a high quality pet care facility.  We provide the daily care of your pets in conjunction with our staff.   We are very familiar with each pet that stays with us. Your pet will enjoy being welcomed by a familiar and friendly face visit after visit.

Staff:

Randa

Randa joined us in 2008.  She grew up in the North West Territories and on an acreage near Stony Plain.  When you visit here, you will see Randa checking in on your dog, exercising your dog, or giving you a tour.  She has a bichon frise which she loves spending time with.

Mark

Mark also joined us in 2008 and also grew up on an acreage near Stony Plain.  You will see Mark working with the dogs or bathing your dog and helping customers.  Mark has a Shepard cross and a cocker spaniel.

Chad

Chad has been with us since 2004. He enjoys looking after the dogs and exercising them. He can also be seen doing handy work around the kennel. He grew up on an acreage nearby and has 2 dogs of his own.

Genna

Genna is once again working for us this summer. Genna started with us in 2006 and has worked each summer and Christmas season since. She can be seen caring for your pet and helping customers. Genna has a little dog of her own which is very spoiled.

Chris

Chris is new to our team this summer. He can be seen mowing lawns and doing general maintenance around the property. He lives on an acreage, has 2 dogs of his own and grew up with a pot bellied pig.

Selim

Selim is also new to our team this summer. Selim grew up on a farm near Stony Plain and is eager to help and look after your dog.
